Tooth Fillings

We are a mercury-free practice. However, many people still have silver/mercury fillings in their mouths from years past. These fillings are not particularly pleasing to the eye, and we know that by unavoidable design, silver/mercury fillings ultimately result in a weaker tooth structure.

Dental Sealants

Highly effective in preventing decay on the biting surfaces of your chewing teeth, dental sealants are a simple procedure in which a tooth-colored acrylic “coating” is painted onto the surface of the tooth. This effectively “seals” the deep grooves, acting as a barrier and protecting enamel from plaque and acids.

Dentures

There are two main types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures are needed when all teeth have been lost from the upper or lower jaw, while partial dentures can be used when some teeth have been lost from the upper or lower jaw.

Dental Bridges

All of your teeth play an important role in speaking, chewing and in maintaining proper alignment of other teeth. Tooth loss doesn’t necessarily have to occur as you age, but if you do lose teeth they must be replaced to maintain proper function of your mouth.

Dental Implant Restorations

Dental implant restoration solves the issue of missing teeth. Implants replace the missing root, providing an anchor for a replacement tooth, bridges, or dentures. Modern materials make these new “roots” durable and secure.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are an extremely reliable technique for repairing the most severe of dental problems, even permanently replacing missing teeth to offer a complete smile and a functional bite.

Tooth Extractions

Dr. Arive may determine that you need a tooth extraction for any number of reasons. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed; others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have broken in a way that cannot be repaired.

Non Surgical Root Canal

A root canal is one of the most common dental procedures performed with well over 14 million completed every year. This simple treatment can save your natural teeth and prevent the need for dental implants or bridges.

Orthodontics

Most patients are familiar with traditional braces. This type is “permanent” in that Dr. Arive adheres to brackets. This system uses brackets and wires to shift the teeth into the correct position.

Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners can straighten your teeth without the use of actual fixed braces. Clear aligners solutions use a series of clear removable appliances to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of appliances for three weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Dental Bonding

Bonding is an alternative to veneers and can be used as a restorative procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored or misarranged. The bonding procedure can often be completed in a single office visit and can improve the appearance of a tooth.

Teeth Whitening

It’s safe, quick, and inexpensive. Just let us know at any appointment if you would like to whiten your teeth. You can lighten only your upper teeth or both the upper and lower, depending on how much you show when you talk and smile.
